Iron Horse Terminals in Beaumont, TX is hiring a Track Laborer to join our rail yard team. You will perform hands-on, outdoor tasks that keep trains moving, under supervision from an experienced operator.

This full-time role offers a day shift, Monday–Friday schedule, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match, plus paid time off and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual labor or construction work.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and use hand/power tools as needed.
• High school diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Help build, repair, and maintain railroad tracks.
• Lay, align, and repair rail components.
• Use hydraulic jacks, tampers, grinders, and other tools.
• Clean ballast and track surfaces, remove debris.
• Replace ties, adjust switches, cut rails, secure joints.
• Lubricate equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with inspections and patrolling for issues.
• Work outdoors year-round.
