Job summary

TA Services is seeking a hands-on rail yard worker for a full-time, on-site role in Texas. You will operate forklifts and rail-related equipment, perform safety-compliant loading, and support yard operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate pneumatic and gas-powered tools safely.
• Experience in rail yard, warehouse, or industrial settings is a plus.
• Completion of safety and compliance training is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and trucks to move customer orders and load onto railcars.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, report malfunctions.
• Follow SJIs and federal, state, and local rail regulations.
• Keep rail yard clean and assist with general yard and mill work.
• Communicate issues to supervisors and teammates promptly.
• Work outdoors in yard with weather exposure.
• Stand, lift, use tools, and work at heights safely.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting.
