Job summary

Iron Horse Terminals in Beaumont, TX is hiring a Track Laborer to join our rail yard team. You will perform hands-on, outdoor work building, repairing, and maintaining railroad tracks under the supervision of experienced operators.

Expect a Monday–Friday day shift with overtime and weekend work possible. The role offers full-time hours, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off, with opportunities to grow into higher-paying

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with manual labor, construction, or heavy equipment.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help build, repair, and maintain railroad tracks.
• Lay, align, and repair rail and track components.
• Use hydraulic jacks, tampers, grinders, and other tools.
• Clean ballast and track surfaces, remove debris.
• Replace ties, adjust switches, secure joints.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with inspections and patrol track for issues.
• Work outdoors year-round.
