Job summary

RailWorks Corporation is seeking a Craft Foreman to direct work groups on active railway properties in Minnesota. The role ensures compliance with railway rules, coordinates with controllers, and minimizes delays to railway operations through proactive safety and communication.

The position requires leading daily briefings, site reviews, and managing equipment and documentation while following company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of railway industry experience.
• Track Inspection Guidelines certification is an asset.
• Ability to read schedules, railway plans and specifications.
• Ability to work in safety-sensitive live railway environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct work groups on active railway property and construction zones.
• Ensure contractors clear the working zone prior to train approach.
• Conduct daily job briefings with contractors and supervisors.
• Operate railway signals and coordinate with Rail Traffic Controllers.
• Maintain documentation per Quality Management System.
