Job Summary:

Track & Field Throws Coach needed for the spring season beginning March 08, 2027, and running through June 05, 2027. The Throws Coach reports to the Head Track and Field Coach. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the coaching staff with the organization and direction of all aspects of the track and field team. Specific duties include coaching the shot and discus events at practices and meets, supervising regular practice sessions, meet preparation, assisting with the management of equipment, and promoting the mission and vision of the school athletic program.

Season Dates:

March 08, 2027 – June 05, 2027

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Position requires a high school diploma.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The qualified candidate should have competitive track & field experience (coaching and/or competing) in the shot and discus events. The candidate must also have a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes, good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work amiably with students, administrators, and faculty.
