Job summary

Gallup-McKinley County Schools seeks an Athletic Coach Assistant Track for Tse' Yi' Gai High School to support the spring track program. The role requires an Athletic Coaching License (7-12) or the ability to obtain it and completing the NM coaching exam.

The coach will organize and supervise a total sports program, coordinate staff, and provide practice guidance, including evenings and weekends to help athletes develop skills, discipline, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Proven coaching experience in major sports.
• Substantial knowledge of technical aspects of the sport.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training.
• Coordinate and support a staff of coaches under athletic director guidance.
• Involve evenings and weekends to support a competitive program.
