Job summary

Gallup-McKinley County Schools seeks an Athletic Coach - Head Girls Basketball for Tse' Yi' Gai High School. The role focuses on developing skills, game strategy, and physical conditioning to achieve team success.

The ideal candidate holds an Athletic Coaching License (7-12), a high school diploma or equivalency, and is prepared to obtain licensure and complete the Fundamentals of Coaching exam. Evening and weekend commitment is required.

Qualifications

Athletic Coaching License 7-12 is required.
High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
Must hold or be able to obtain Athletic Coaching License (NM PED) and complete the Fundamentals of Coaching online exam.

Responsibilities

Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for individual and team success.
Demonstrate behaviors that lead to character development, self-discipline, and pride in achievement.
Supervise and support staff of high school and middle school coaches with the athletic director and principals.
Work evenings and weekends to support the team’s schedule.
