Job summary

Champaign Unit 4 Schools is seeking a Girls Soccer Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 season at Central High School. This differential position requires IHSA coaching certification or IL Educator License, and a strong knowledge of the sport to develop student-athletes.

The role requires willingness to work nights, holidays, evenings and weekends and to travel with the team to practices and games as needed. Interviews may occur after September 2, 2026; season runs Feb–May per IHSA rules.

Qualifications

• IHSA-regulated coaching certification or Illinois Professional Educator License required.
• Strong knowledge of the sport and ability to teach and develop student-athletes.
• Ability to build relationships and be a positive role model for students.
• Effective communication with students and adults.
• Willingness to work nights, holidays, evenings and weekends; travel as needed.
