You will interact with communities, interview families, issue referrals, liaise with shelters, assist with confidential inquiries, and prepare detailed reports.
Hours: 8am–4pm, Tuesday to Saturday; Sundays and Mondays off.

The agency manages hundreds of facilities and operates with a large team as well as a several billion-dollar budget to meet the diverse needs of New Yorkers experiencing homelessness.The Division of Shelter Intake is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the agencys Single Adult, Adult Families and Families with Childrens intake and assessment sites, both directly run and contracted providers. This Division is responsible for ensuring that the Citys most vulnerable population can access shelter, per eligibility criteria, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hours/Shift: 8am 4pm Tuesday to Saturday. (RDOs Sunday and Monday)
Qualification Requirements 1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or 2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
