Lubrizol is seeking a Process Technology Engineer-Estane NA in Brecksville, OH to drive MET and TPU manufacturing improvements. You will lead cross-functional teams, deploy advanced problem-solving tools, and generate high-quality technical documentation to accelerate capability growth across Lubrizol’s global network.

The role emphasizes MET development, process and product development, and MA support, with opportunities to influence scale-up, documentation standards, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Chemical/Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in chemical, polymer, or specialty manufacturing.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience in advanced problem-solving tools like DOE, SPC, Minitab/JMP, modeling, AI.
• Willingness to attend occasional off-hour meetings with global team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop MET by benchmarking current practices and external technologies.
• Create technology roadmaps to advance TPU manufacturing.
• Implement MET to improve process capability, product quality, and efficiency.
• Lead improvements of existing processes using DOE, data analysis, and digital tools.
• Support scale-up of new products via structured DOE and pilot trials.
• Provide MA process support to enable safe scale-up of new products and changes.
• Ensure safety through risk assessments and MOC for changes.
• Produce clear documentation and codify best practices across the network.
