Qualifications

Located about 30 miles south ofAlbuquerque in rural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-ValenciaCampus is a two-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico, whichfunctions as a community college in the region and is designated a HispanicServing Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, ValenciaCampus offers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education,and Dual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s in English or related field.

• One year teaching experience using Canvas
• Excellence in teaching (documented via student or supervisor evaluations)
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.

Applicants who are appointed to a UNM faculty position are required to provide an official certification of successful completion of all degree requirements prior to their initial employment with UNM.
