Averro is seeking an aerospace manufacturing technician in Merritt Island, FL to apply thermal protection systems to flight hardware according to established procedures, drawings, and specifications.

You will perform surface prep, fixturing, adhesive application, gap filling, and vacuum bagging on large structures, and may conduct second‑party verifications and hardware inspections while maintaining 5S, FOD, and tool control.

Competenze

• 2+ years of aerospace manufacturing, integration, or aircraft heavy depot-level maintenance experience.
• Interpret engineering drawings; experience with adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets.
• Lift 50 lbs; work at heights or confined spaces; U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee.

Mansioni

• Apply thermal protection systems to flight hardware per procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform surface prep, fixturing, adhesive application, gap filling, and vacuum bagging on large structures.
• Complete second-party verifications and hardware inspections; follow 5S, FOD, and tool control.
• Operate calibrated precision tools (torque wrenches, micrometers) and material handling equipment.
