Averro is seeking a skilled technician for an aerospace manufacturing role on Merritt Island, FL. You will apply thermal protection systems to flight hardware, perform surface prep and bonding per procedures, and operate precision tools such as torque wrenches and micrometers.

Responsibilities include assembly verification, 5S and FOD compliance, and lifting up to 50 lbs in potentially confined spaces. Trade school or related certification is preferred; U.S.

Competenze

• Aerospace manufacturing experience or equivalent in aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets preferred.

Mansioni

• Apply thermal protection systems to flight hardware per procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform surface prep, fixturing, adhesive application, gap filling, and vacuum bagging on large structures.
• Complete second-party verifications and hardware inspections; follow 5S, FOD, and tool control.
• Operate calibrated precision tools (torque wrenches, micrometers) and material handling equipment.
