Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Third-Party IT Risk Manager to lead and modernize its global TPRM capability across a complex supplier landscape. You will ensure third-party engagements align with risk appetite, security standards, and regulatory expectations while delivering scalable assurance over third-party cyber risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, information security, MIS or similar.
• 12+ years in cybersecurity, technology risk, or information security with supplier risk ownership.
• 5+ years of leadership (managerial or functional) experience.
• Proven design/leadership of a global TPRM program across the life cycle.
• Success modernizing TPRM with risk-based approaches integrating validation, automation, and monitoring.
• Ability to own decisions at a senior level with minimal authority.
• Strong fluency across cloud platforms, APIs, identity, data flows, and integration architectures.
• Experience with advanced assessments (architecture reviews, vulnerability assessments, pen testing, threat modeling).
• Able to operate in highly distributed, market-driven environments.
• Leadership experience building teams and influencing senior stakeholders across Tech, Procurement, Legal, Privacy, ERM.
• Strong executive communication skills for reporting posture/trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve Wolters Kluwer’s global TPRM program and operating model.
• Modernize TPRM with data-driven approaches, AI, and risk quantification.
• Manage junior team members as a manager-level leader.
• Implement continuous monitoring for near real-time visibility into third-party cyber posture.
• Design and deploy automation and AI-assisted evidence collection and risk scoring.
• Continuously assess tools, data sources, and assurance models to improve risk coverage.
• Review and analyze third-party contracts to protect company requirements.
• Maintain an enterprise-wide inventory of third-party relationships and risk treatment decisions.
• Provide clear reporting on risk posture, trends, and concentration risks to senior leadership.
• Foster collaboration across Technology, Procurement, Legal, Privacy, and ERM.
