Job summary

Pacific Southwest Container, LLC is seeking a motivated Summer Intern for the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) department. The intern will support the TPM Manager in reviewing and improving maintenance programs while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields. The internship presents a flexible daytime schedule and offers hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed coursework in related field.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing and updating machine Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Organize and standardize PM documentation and maintenance records.
• Support data entry and maintenance system updates.
• Gather machine information, maintenance history, and parts data.

Skills

Strong organizational skills

Computer and data entry proficiency

Problem-solving and basic math skills

Research and analytical skills

Time management

Familiarity with Windows-based programs

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to compile, analyze, and present data
