Job summary

Pohanka of Salisbury, part of the Pohanka Family of Dealerships, is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information, and accurately report symptoms. You will determine maintenance needs based on vehicle history and provide cost estimates for labor and parts.

• Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, energetic demeanor.
• High level of personal and professional integrity.
• Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
