First Team Toyota is seeking an energetic prep and detailer for an afternoon shift at our busy, high-volume dealership. Join a leader in the automotive industry with ample opportunities to grow within the company.

You will detail New and Pre-Owned vehicles, service vehicles, and maintain a clean, presentable showroom and lot. This full-time role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Responsibilities

• Wash exterior of vehicles, clean interior and windows, and wipe doorjambs.
• Apply waxes, polishes, and other protective finishes.
• Vacuum interiors and remove dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery and surfaces with appropriate cleaners.
• Process engine bay cleaning with steam and cleaners as needed.
• Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean, presentable condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support department needs.

Summary:

Support Sales and Service Department operations by cleaning and detailing New and Pre-Owned Vehicles and Service Vehicles.

• Wash Vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
• Apply waxes, polishes, etc.
• Vacuum interior of Vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply various cleaning and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Apply special-purpose cleaners, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Replace all traces of any protective films or coverings applied for shipment or service.
• Maintain Showroom or Stock Vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
• Remove all window stickers on Sold Vehicles.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Attend all Dealership and Service Department meetings when requested.
• Provide exceptional Customer Service.
