Job summary

Just Play, LLC in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Associate Product Designer to help ideate and develop new toy product opportunities across multiple categories, translating concepts into practical 2D and 3D models for product and marketing management.

You will collaborate with a small team to advance brand concepts, present design ideas to cross-functional teams, and coordinate with external resources such as model makers and designers.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of toy design or related product design experience.
• Experience across plush, dolls, play sets and accessories.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of 3D CAD.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used for toy development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Generate new designs and ideas for New IP Brands within Just Play.
• Carry out idea generation and product design work from concept through development.
• Design and develop New IP Brands.
• Collaborate within a small team to advance brand concepts.
• Present and communicate design concepts to design, marketing, and management teams.
• Coordinate with model makers, sculptors, and soft goods designers.
