Job summary

Just Play is a fast-moving toy company seeking a versatile CAD Designer to lead 3D product design while occasionally handling packaging and branding work. The role requires on-site presence in Hauppauge, NY and collaboration with product design, marketing, and licensing teams to ensure cohesive design execution.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in CAD for toys or similar, proficiency in SolidWorks, Blender, ZBrush, Rhino, Fusion 360, and Adobe Creative Suite, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CAD design experience in toys or consumer products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools listed above and familiarity with licensing needs.
• Graphic design skills with Adobe Creative Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed and accurate 3D CAD models for toys and related products.
• Develop technical drawings and files for prototyping and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and licensing teams.
• Support license-based design work and adapt assets for packaging.
• Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Occasionally design packaging layouts, branding elements, and presentation materials.
