Job summary

TPS Group Holdings, a family of brands including The Paper Store and Uncharted, is seeking an Assistant Buyer, Toys at our Acton, MA corporate office. You will support the Buyer in building compelling assortments and managing PO processes, focused on the toy category.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in buying/merchandising for toys, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset to drive category growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of buying, merchandising, or category management experience in toys retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or Retail preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support Trend Discovery & Product Flow: assist in identifying new toy opportunities and trends.
• Drive Day-to-Day Buying Operations: manage purchase orders, order status, and data accuracy.
• Inventory & Allocation Execution: execute allocations and support store inventory needs.
• Analyze the Business & Learn the Financials: monitor sales, markdowns, and margins.
• Cross-Functional Merchandising Execution: coordinate with eCommerce, marketing and stores.
