Hawkins Parnell & Young, LLP is seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated toxic tort litigation paralegal with 2-6 years of experience to join our national team. The successful candidate will support case management, document preparation, deposition and medical record review, and coordination with local and national counsel across nine offices.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Tort litigation experience preferred; toxic tort experience a major plus.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
• Proficiency in CompuLaw and iManage a plus.

Responsibilities

• Case management including maintaining document control and calendaring deadlines.
• Preparation and organization of documents, charts, letters, etc.
• Deposition review and summaries.
• Medical record review and summaries.
• Preparation for depositions and for attorneys.
• Coordinating and effecting document productions.
• Drafting discovery documents.
• Requesting records.
