The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in toxic tort, asbestos, or silica matters and holds a Juris Doctor licensed in California.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in toxic tort, asbestos, silica or complex litigation.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in California.
• Experience with motions and depositions.
• Experience leading plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle local and national accounts across California.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Conduct depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review and analyze discovery requests.
• Prepare and respond to discovery and pleadings.
• Prepare court filings and serve counsel; e-filing experience.
• Trial preparation and support.
• Maintain accurate time records.
