Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our nationally recognized litigation practice in California. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in toxic tort, asbestos, silica, or complex civil matters, with strong research and writing skills and CA bar admission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in toxic tort, asbestos, silica or complex litigation.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in California.
• Experience with motion practice and depositions.
• Ability to lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Independent, organized, and able to multitask with strong writing.
• Superior research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle local and national accounts throughout California.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Conduct depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review and analyze discovery requests.
• Prepare and respond to discovery and pleadings.
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel; e-filing experience.
• Trial preparation and support.
• Maintain accurate time records.
