The longstanding traditions of this community and its residents along with its scenic location continue to make Genoa a special place today. This small, rural community’s annual Genoa Candy Dance arts and crafts festival, powered by volunteerism and sugary treats, has been keeping the lights on for over 100 years and has become an integral part of the identity of the Town.

The ideal candidate for the role will be someone who is always ready to step in where needed, isn’t afraid to wear multiple hats, and is able to see opportunities even in the face of the unique challenges of this small community. If you are someone seeking an opportunity for public service in a hands‑on role, the Genoa Town Manager could be what you've been looking for.
