Job summary

Viaero Wireless is seeking experienced tower climbers for telecom projects. You will climb towers up to 500 ft to install antennas, radios, and cabling, and troubleshoot RF/fiber issues.

Join a crew with sign-on bonuses and potential advancement to Top Hand or Foreman, while completing job paperwork and maintaining site safety. Applicants should have at least 1 year of tower climbing experience, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 after hire) and First Aid/ CPR certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand tools and testing equipment.
• Capable of working with teams and following directions.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers up to 500 ft to install and maintain antennas and radios.
• Run coax and fiber, install connectors, and perform testing.
• Install mounts, RRUs, masts, and other tower equipment.
• Work on microwave dishes and troubleshoot RF and fiber issues.
• Lead crew members as Top Hand/Foreman when assigned.
• Load/unload gear, keep sites clean, and complete job paperwork.

Work in CO, NE & KS | Rotation schedule available | Sign-on bonus (ask recruiter)

We're hiring experienced tower climbers for telecom work. If you've climbed, rigged, and built towers before, we want you on the crew. Candidates must reside in Texas, Colorado, Nebraska or South Dakota.

What You'll Do

• Climb towers (up to 500 ft) to install and maintain antennas, radios, and cabling
• Run coax and fiber, install connectors, and perform sweep and fiber testing
• Install mounts, RRUs, masts, supports, and other tower equipment
• Work on microwave dishes (1 ft-10 ft)
• Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and equipment issues
• Build and modify towers (monopoles, guyed, self-supports)
• Load/unload gear, keep sites clean, and complete job paperwork
• Lead crew members if you're in a Top Hand/Foreman role

What You Need

• At least 1 year of tower climbing / telecom construction experience (comp based on experience)
• Knowledge of rigging, knots, and tower safety
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Can follow directions and get the job done right the first time
• Good attitude, shows up ready to work, and works well within various teams

Certs (Have Them or Get Them)

• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 required after hire)
• First Aid / CPR

Requirements

• 21 or older with a valid driver's license
• Pass background check, MVR, and drug test
• Lift 75 lbs. and handle long days
• Work outside in all weather
