Job summary

Viaero Wireless is seeking experienced tower climbers to join our telecom crew. You will climb towers up to 500 ft, install antennas, radios, cabling, and run fiber, ensuring high-quality installs on active projects.

This full-time on-site role offers a rotation schedule and a sign-on bonus. You’ll work with safety-minded teams, earn opportunities to advance to Top Hand or Foreman, and contribute to reliable network infrastructure across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of tower climbing / telecom construction experience.
• Knowledge of rigging, knots, and tower safety.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 required after hire)

Responsibilities

• Climb towers (up to 500 ft) to install and maintain antennas, radios, and cabling.
• Run coax and fiber, install connectors, and perform sweep and fiber testing.
• Install mounts, RRUs, masts, supports, and other tower equipment.
• Work on microwave dishes (1 ft–10 ft).
• Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and equipment issues.
• Build and modify towers (monopoles, guyed, self-supports).
• Load/unload gear, keep sites clean, and complete job paperwork.
• Lead crew members if you’re in a Top Hand/Foreman role.

We’re hiring experienced tower climbers for telecom work. If you’ve climbed, rigged, and built towers before, we want you on the crew. Candidates must reside in Texas, Colorado, Nebraska or South Dakota.

What You’ll Do

• Climb towers (up to 500 ft) to install and maintain antennas, radios, and cabling
• Run coax and fiber, install connectors, and perform sweep and fiber testing
• Install mounts, RRUs, masts, supports, and other tower equipment
• Work on microwave dishes (1 ft–10 ft)
• Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and equipment issues
• Build and modify towers (monopoles, guyed, self-supports)
• Load/unload gear, keep sites clean, and complete job paperwork
• Lead crew members if you’re in a Top Hand/Foreman role

What You Need

• At least 1 year of tower climbing / telecom construction experience (comp based on experience)
• Knowledge of rigging, knots, and tower safety
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Can follow directions and get the job done right the first time
• Good attitude, shows up ready to work, and works well within various teams

Certs (Have Them or Get Them)

• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 required after hire)
• First Aid / CPR

Requirements

• 21 or older with a valid driver’s license
• Pass background check, MVR, and drug test
• Lift 75 lbs. and handle long days
• Work outside in all weather
