Job summary

Viaero Wireless seeks experienced tower climbers for telecom construction across CO, NE and KS. Candidates should have climbing, rigging, and safety skills, with ability to operate hand and power tools and testing equipment. Local residency or relocation supported for the right fit.

You will join a crew performing installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting on towers up to 500 ft, with opportunities to advance to Top Hand or Foreman based on performance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of tower climbing / telecom construction experience (comp based on experience).
• Knowledge of rigging, knots, and tower safety.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Can follow directions and get the job done right the first time.
• Good attitude, shows up ready to work, and works well within various teams.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers (up to 500 ft) to install and maintain antennas, radios, and cabling.
• Run coax and fiber, install connectors, and perform sweep and fiber testing.
• Install mounts, RRUs, masts, supports, and other tower equipment.
• Work on microwave dishes (1 ft-10 ft).
• Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and equipment issues.
• Build and modify towers (monopoles, guyed, self-supports).
• Load/unload gear, keep sites clean, and complete job paperwork.
• Lead crew members if you're in a Top Hand/Foreman role.
