MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician III to install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment on towers. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork within a hands-on environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of tower experience, can read printed instructions, and possess or pursue safety certifications. The position may require long hours and physical activity on-site with potential helicopter-assisted erections.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment on towers.
• Climb towers and ladders at various heights.
• Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles.
• Mentor new technicians.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Offload materials and inventory.
• Prepare and clean sites.
• Install carriers on towers.
