B.H. Inc. is seeking a Tower Technician II (Microwave Specialist) in Utah with regional travel to join our nationwide team.

You will work with the Field Foreman to deploy microwave point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links, climbing towers up to 500+ feet and handling rigging, cabling, and grounding per manufacturer specs. We offer $25–$29 per hour with weekly pay, lodging paid, company vehicle, per diem, health and life insurance, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of active tower climbing experience with microwave install exposure.
• Valid Competent Climber / Tower Rescue certification and OSHA 10.
• Willingness to commit to a 100% travel schedule during the workweek, with some weekends.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Microwave rigging and climbing on towers up to 500+ feet with heavy rigging.
• Assist with path alignment, tuning dishes, and optimizing RSL values.
• Install/terminate ODUs, IDUs, coax, fiber trunk lines, hybrids, and grounding.
• Support line sweeps and tests, modeling safe work practices for crew.

As a Tower Technician II specializing in microwave systems, you will work closely with your Field Foreman to safely execute critical point-to-point and point-to-multipoint link deployments.

• Microwave Rigging & Climbing: Safely climb a variety of structures (cell towers, monopoles, guyed towers) up to 500+ feet, assisting with heavy rigging plans to hoist microwave dishes (2ft to 6ft+), radomes, and waveguides.
• Path Alignment Assistance: Assist with the pathing and panning process, fine-tuning dishes to optimize Received Signal Level (RSL) values.
• Technical Installation: Install and terminate outdoor units (ODUs), indoor units (IDUs), coax, fiber optic trunk lines, hybrids, and grounding systems to strict manufacturer specifications.
• Testing & Mentorship: Assist with line sweeps and pathing software testing to troubleshoot physical line issues, while setting a strong safety example (100% fall protection) for newer Tower Tech I crew members.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a self-driven professional who pays sharp attention to detail, maintains absolute integrity, and prioritizes field safety.

• 1 to 3+ years of active tower climbing experience, with direct exposure to installing microwave dishes or heavy rigging preferred.
• A valid Competent Climber / Tower Rescue certification and a minimum of OSHA 10.
• Willingness to commit to a 100% travel schedule during the workweek. While we aim to be home most weekends, telecom schedules move fast-you must be flexible to work occasional weekends to hit critical client cutovers or beat weather windows.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States (we are unable to sponsor visas at this time).
