Job summary

ONTIVITY is seeking a Tower Technician in Houston, TX to assist in the erection, construction, and maintenance of wireless towers. This safety-sensitive role focuses on safe, high-quality installations with attention to rigging, cabling, testing, labeling, and closeout documentation.

Responsibilities include assembly on tower tops, grounding, line installation, and documentation support, while maintaining strict safety practices and teamwork across the crew.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years climbing towers and related work is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80–100% weekly.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Support tower erection, installation, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety and quality guidelines are followed on site.
• Install up-top equipment, cabling, and grounding as directed.
• Assist in routing, labeling, and documentation of work.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of tools and equipment.
• Participate in safety briefings and complete JSAs.
