Job summary

Day Wireless Systems is seeking a Tower Technician to perform tower construction, installation, and grounding across multiple sites. Responsibilities include climbing towers to install antennas and cables, building and deconstructing towers, and digging trenches for grounding per R56 standards. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years related experience, and comfort with heights. OSHA 10 certification and valid driver’s license are a plus.

Qualifications

• Willingness to climb and no fear of heights is required.
• High school diploma or GED; plus 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Equipment operator experience (excavator/Dozer/skid steer) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan crew schedule and coordinate with customers and subcontractors.
• Climb telecommunication towers to install antennas, dishes, cables, and stand-offs.
• Build and deconstruct towers.
• Dig trenches for grounding per standards and drive ground rods; CAD welding.
