Job summary

Nextlink Internet is seeking a Tower Technician to install, replace, and repair antenna systems on wireless towers. You will run power, grounding, fiber, Cat5e, and coaxial cables and perform routine maintenance in outdoor environments.

You must be able to climb towers up to 250 feet, pass a safety and rescue program, and maintain a valid driver license. The role requires a team-oriented, safety-conscious approach and availability for irregular hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Experience working outdoors in variable conditions.
  • Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and maintain a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and repair antenna systems on towers.
  • Run power, grounding, fiber, Cat5e and coaxial cables.
  • Climb towers up to 250 feet for installation and maintenance.
  • Complete tower safety and rescue training as required.
  • Perform routine tower maintenance and safety checks.
