Job summary

North Star Sheets in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking a Tower Operator for the 2nd shift (3:45pm-12:15am, Mon-Fri). You will serve as the central lead for the corrugator, monitor control systems, and coordinate with the production crew to meet goals and quality standards.

The role requires 2 years of corrugated experience, strong communication, and ability to work overtime. Training on multiple shifts is expected within the first 90 days, with steady opportunities for advancement and competitive

Qualifications

• 2 years of corrugated experience is required.
• Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to train on various shifts during first 90 days.
• Fast-paced, results driven environment; effective communication.
• Able to perform basic math and measurements; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and monthly safety trainings.
• Edit orders in queue and communicate with corrugator crew.
• Monitor corrugator computer systems for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain production and downtime records for each shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues to maintenance.
• Provide on-the-job training as needed.
• Ensure attendance and flexibility in shift hours.
