North Star Sheets in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking a Clamp Truck Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift. You will stage units, load/unload trailers, and perform final quality inspections to ensure accuracy of loads and paperwork.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Clamp Truck Operator experience.
• Energetic, motivated, and dependable.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to train on various shifts during first 90 days.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging, and results drive environment.
• Ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
• Ability to attend weekly team meetings on Tuesdays, 30 minutes before your shift starts (1st & 2nd Shift), 30 minutes after your shift ends (3rd shift).
• Willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle tasks for success.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual quality inspections and verify trailer/carrier counts and paperwork.

Job description

North Star Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, a corrugated manufacturing industry leader, currently has exciting opportunities available for a Clamp Truck Operator on 2nd, or 3rd Shift in Cottage Grove, MN!

Pay Rate:

$23.00 per hour, plus shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift

2nd shift differential: $1.00 per hour

3rd shift differential: $1.50 per hour

Shift Times:

2nd Shift: 3:45pm-12:15am, Monday-Friday

3rd Shift: 11:45pm-8:15am, Monday-Saturday Morning

The Clamp Truck Operatoris responsible for making sure that all units are banded properly and have a clear visible load tag on them when being loaded and that there are no broken or missing straps on the units. This position stages units in the warehouse and loads/unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will be responsible for performing a visual quality inspection on items and ensure that units and truck counts are accurate on the trailer/ carrier and that all paperwork is accurate. This position performs our last visual quality inspection of all items loaded & unloaded.
