Job summary

Glanbia Dairy Nutrition is seeking a dedicated technician to ensure product quality and adherence to procedures across the production line. You will sanitize towers, run CIP, monitor inventories, and handle cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with SDS and company policies.

The role requires reading and following instructions in English, standing for extended periods, and the ability to work weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

Reading and writing instructions in English.
Must be dependable and trustworthy.
Ability to stand and walk the entire shift.
Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment.
Willing to work weekends and overtime as required.
Excellent record in safety, attendance and punctuality.
No lifting restrictions.
Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Sanitize towers every two hours.
Run towers in manual and auto mode.
Perform accurate inventory of cheese bags.
Break down of Tower during CIP.
Understanding of chemicals and their uses.
Safely handle, measure, mix, and dispose of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals used in the CIP process in accordance with established procedures and SDS.
Proper cleaning of block conveyor lines.
Proper GMP in ready to eat area.
Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance).
Perform other duties as assigned.
