Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a heavy equipment mechanic specializing in cranes to perform preventative maintenance and repairs in the field. The role requires availability for on-call and after-hours or weekend services to meet customer needs.

The Technician will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer locations, conduct OSHA inspections, and generate reports and repair orders. Travel and varying shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hour services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule daily work.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely; notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Maintain ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Attend trainings and seminars as required.
• Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
