Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Civil Technician in Dallas, TX to assist the Civil Foreman with tower foundations, fencing, grounding, and site maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and following detailed specifications as part of the crew building wireless infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will read drawings, operate basic construction equipment, and participate in ground work while traveling 50–90% of the time. Industrial safety training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, specs.
• Experience working on a tower construction crew or similar field tasks.
• Demonstrated completion of industrial first aid and rescue training.
• Works well in a team and communicates with supervisor and crew.

Responsibilities

• Values safety over all other considerations.
• Assist grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use; support of leads.
• Cad welding as required.
• Assist on overall job including ground work and site installation per customer specs.
• Maintain safe work environment; complete JSA forms; assist with crew tasks.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Must read drawings and piping diagrams and follow testing procedures.
