Job summary

Nexus Towing is seeking light duty Tow Truck Operators to perform Consent Tows only. You will safely operate a tow truck with capacity up to 26,000 pounds GVW and load/unload vehicles, while documenting activity for dispatch.

No experience is required as we will train the right candidate. A clear driving record, successful pre-employment drug test, and background check are required, with no DUI/DWI on record. A strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude are valued as part of our diverse team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment & random drug screening
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to coordinate and take direction from dispatchers
• Ability to learn and use the Towbook Application
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed/wheel lift tow truck
• Load and unload vehicles
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
