Cox Automotive in the United States is hiring a Tow Truck Driver I for DOT management level at a fixed Cox location. You will operate tow equipment, assist with on‑lot vehicle movement, and ensure safety during loading, transport and unloading.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, DOT certification or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to use equipment and portable terminals. The compensation is hourly, $18.17–$27.31, with potential incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years in a related field (heavy equipment) preferred.
• DOT certification required or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license essential.
• Ability to pass OSHA forklift/heavy equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates a tow truck to provide tow service on-site and at other locations as needed.
• DOT certification required and maintained.
• Loads/unloads vehicles safely and moves them around the lot for auction or sale.
• Receives and delivers vehicles, scans with TC75, and assists with jump-starts or unlocks as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance on tow truck and loader; adheres to safety procedures.
