Top Notch Recovery LLC is seeking a Tow Truck Driver/Rollback to join our team and handle vehicle recovery operations on site. You will operate flatbed and rollback tow trucks, secure loads, and assist customers with professionalism and safety at all times.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience in towing or automotive diagnostics. You will perform basic repairs, document activity, and follow all safety regulations in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and rollback models, to recover and transport vehicles
• Securely load and unload vehicles using proper cargo securement protocols, ensuring safe transportation
• Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics as needed
• Follow all safety procedures during vehicle recovery towing and ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations
• Assist customers courteously, providing excellent customer service throughout the towing process
• Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure mechanical reliability and safety standards are met
• Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, including experience with towing
• Proven experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical vehicle repairs, or automotive diagnostics
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and conflict management when dealing with customers or other drivers
• Ability to operate flatbed tow trucks or rollback equipment efficiently and safely
• Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders when necessary
