Applicants should be safety-minded, professional in customer interactions, and able to operate towing equipment in various conditions. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL may be preferred for wrecker/heavy-duty operations.
• Experience in towing, rollback, recovery, or trucking is valued.
• Ability to work safely around traffic and in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate rollback and wrecker equipment safely and professionally.
• Tow and transport vehicles locally and long distance as needed.
• Respond to roadside assistance and recovery calls.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with accident scenes and recovery operations.
• Complete required paperwork and job documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch during calls.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and safe.
• Adhere to safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Provide professional customer service at all times.
• Participate in nights, weekends, and on-call rotations as scheduled.

1st Choice Towing and Recovery is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Rollback / Wrecker Driver to join our team. This position involves local and out-of-town towing, roadside assistance, accident recovery, vehicle transport, and assisting with recovery operations as needed.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with customers and dispatch, and can safely operate towing and recovery equipment in a variety of situations.

Responsibilities

• Operate rollback and wrecker equipment safely and professionally
• Perform local and long-distance vehicle towing and transport
• Respond to roadside assistance and recovery calls
• Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles and equipment
• Assist with accident scenes, winch-outs, and recovery operations
• Complete required paperwork and job documentation
• Communicate with dispatch throughout assigned calls
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain assigned truck and equipment in clean, safe working condition
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirements
• Provide professional customer service at all times
• Participate in nights, weekends, and on-call rotations as scheduled

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean/acceptable driving record
• CDL preferred for wrecker/heavy-duty operations
• Previous towing, rollback, wrecker, recovery, trucking, or equipment-operation experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working alongside traffic, at accident scenes, and in various weather conditions
• Ability to safely use chains, straps, winches, wheel lifts, and related towing equipment
• Must be dependent and able to respond to calls as scheduled
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and make safe decisions in the field
