Job Responsibilities

1. Operate a company vehicle safely to pick up vehicles from auto auctions or private parties.
2. Load vehicles, verify loaded vehicles, collect paperwork, and process payments with company checks.
3. Obtain signatures at pick-up locations to confirm accuracy and deliver vehicles to the plant.
4. Ensure the safety of the load and comply with company policies and DOT regulations.
5. Complete annual training and adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 1 year of related experience, including 6 months in warehouse operations.
• One year of commercial driving experience or certification from an accredited driving school.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to meet DOT and FMCSA requirements, including physical and testing standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Preferred Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in basic math and ability to interpret data and create documents using MS Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with moderate complexity.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires extensive driving, physical activity, and exposure to various environmental conditions. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in different settings, including cramped spaces and extreme temperatures.
