Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking professional tow truck drivers to provide best-in-class towing services for a diverse client base.

You will handle inbound and outbound towing of light duty vehicles, motorcycles, and other equipment, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries according to dispatch directions. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, communicate with customers and the dispatch team, capture required documentation and images, and ensure all assigned jobs meet due dates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year towing/transport experience.
• Must possess route planning and efficiency skills.
• Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work 12–14 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to hazards and obstructions when presented.
• Outdoor work year-round.
• General mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobiles.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks and tow light duty vehicles without damage.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure towed vehicles are not damaged.
• Safely tow customer vehicles.
• Collaborate with the IAA Dispatch Team.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Record pickup and delivery events with images on the IAA Tow App.
• Verify title information when required and communicate discrepancies.
• Ensure all tow jobs are completed on or before the due date.
• Other duties as assigned per business needs.

Description

Tow truck drivers will be responsible for providing best-in-class towing service for RB Global. Drivers are responsible for the inbound and outbound towing of light duty vehicles - including motorcycles, travel trailers, and various other vehicles that can be fixed to a standard ball hitch - for a diversified customer base. The pickup and delivery of vehicles according to Due Dates for all work assigned through the RB Global Dispatch Team is essential. Drivers will provide status updates to customers and dispatchers, and will perform all communication, paperwork, condition reporting, and imaging required, including title verification, as necessary.

Qualifications

• Verify title information when title pickup is required with the assigned vehicle, and communicate any discrepencies with the IAA Dispatch Team.
• Ensure all assigned tow jobs are completed on, or before, the due date.
