Job summary

AEG is seeking a Production Manager to lead the production team for live shows at our venues. You will manage budgets, schedules, and relationships with artists, talent buyers, and venues to ensure flawless show execution.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in concert production, strong budgeting skills, and flexibility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. A BA/BS and music-industry exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• 4–6 years of related work experience.
• Experience in the music industry preferred.
• Experience interpreting event contracts and developing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between venue and artist to ensure production needs are met and the contract is adhered to.
• Work with talent buyer to schedule tours, build offers and create show budgets.
• Coordinate with the venue to ensure operations meet show requirements.
• Resolve production issues that arise during the show timeline.
• Develop relationships with artists, tour crew, venues and management for smooth communication.
• Set and track budgets to stay within spending limits.
• Oversee load-in/out and manage production crew, payroll approvals.
• May handle show settlements and payments to artists and venue.
• May hire local labor or rentals as needed.
• May manage production logistics at other locations.
