Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety across store areas. You will perform sanitation duties, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure proper chemical handling according to SOPs.

Role requires 1+ years in maintenance or sanitation, strong communication, and the ability to work with a team, including late evenings or overnight hours. HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or sanitation preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation and maintenance of department, fixtures, and equipment.
• Deep cleans and disinfects processing areas and floors.
• Follow SOPs, document chemical handling and sanitation checks.
• Provide customer service and assist customers in locating products.
