Qualifications

• Minimum two years general business experience, preferably in insurance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
• Superior negotiation, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn on-the-job and through claims training courses.
• Must acquire and maintain state licenses as applicable.
• Good basic but advancing knowledge of automobile repair.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate and settle insurance claims involving automobile material damage losses.
• Determine value of the physical damage claim and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• May be assigned duties regarding catastrophe teams for auto losses.
• Required to evaluate and settle auto total loss claims.
