Raley's in Phoenix is seeking a Tortilleria Machine Operator to operate and care for tortilla production equipment, ensuring a steady supply of flour and corn tortillas, tostada shells, duros, tortilla chips and masa for customers. You will maintain equipment and assist with packaging, while upholding strict food safety standards.

The role supports a fast-paced production area, requires physical stamina, and involves stocking, merchandising, and collaborating with team members to deliver quality

Qualifications

• Experience operating food production equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining tortilla making machines, conveyor belts, mixers and fryers.
• Mixing masa for tortilla products.
• Manufacturing and packaging tortillas and snack items like tortilla chips and duros.
• Ensuring all manufacturing and cooking facilities meet food safety guidelines.
• Maintaining adequate stock levels to ensure production.
• Merchandising Tortilleria products on shelves and displays.
• Understanding proper product preparation and merchandising techniques.
• Keeping work areas clean and orderly.
