Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney with tort experience to join its Las Vegas, Nevada office. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, maintains positive client contact, and observes confidentiality in a team-oriented environment.

Duties include providing analysis, developing case strategy, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and communicating options to clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• In good standing and able to practice law in Nevada.
• Strong critical thinking skills and solid academic background.
• Strong sense of urgency in problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive.
• Excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting billable hours goals.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and effective.
• Professional demeanor and ability to communicate well with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial analysis and develop case strategy.
• Prepare and respond to discovery.
• Take and defend depositions, draft motions, and attend hearings.
• Explain legal options to clients and highlight possible outcomes or threats.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Negotiate, research, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
