NOMINAL MACHINING LLC in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with setup and operating experience for a fast-paced production environment. The role requires reading blueprints, performing in-process inspections, and maintaining tight tolerances on complex plastic and metal parts.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency with CNC lathes, measuring instruments, and CAM software; experience with 5-axis machining and Haas controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deburr parts and complete finishing work as needed.
  • Install hardware and perform minor shop/machine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

We are currently seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist with setup and operating experience to join our team.

This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in precision work, performs well under pressure, and understands the demands of a high-performance manufacturing environment. Our shop operates with tight deadlines, high customer expectations, and a strong focus on quality, urgency, and accountability. Candidates should be comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, and sometimes high-stress environment where adaptability, efficiency, and attention to detail are critical.
