You will operate forklifts and cranes, assist welders, and ensure materials and tools are ready for production. The job emphasizes safety, attendance, and the ability to read shop drawings, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, able to stand, walk, and bend for a 10‑hour shift.
• Able to pass a pre‑employment lift test for materials up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
• Excellent attendance and a can‑do attitude under pressure.
• Ability to read a tape measure for material handling and support tasks.
• Willingness to take direction from supervisors and fabricators.
• Basic comprehension of shop drawings for structural assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard‑free workstation with routine sweeping and cleanup.
• Safely pilot forklifts, straddle‑lifts, and operate overhead cranes to move steel components.
• Load and unload trucks to keep the supply chain moving.
• Support Fitters and Welders with parts, tools, and space.
• Operate small hand tools, grinders, and cleaning equipment for prep.
